The final destination was Biogradska Gora National Park, one of Europe’s last remaining virgin forests. Spanning 54 km², the park is home to ancient beech trees, some over 500 years old, and six glacial lakes, with Biogradsko Lake being the most accessible . Recognized as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the park offers a sanctuary for diverse flora and fauna, including 150 bird species and 10 mammal species.
