PIVA LAKE

Piva Lake is the second largest lake in Montenegro, or the second largest of all
lakes, right after Lake Skadar. It was created by the construction of a hydro power
plant in 1975 that is 220 m high, among the highest in Europe. In some places, the
lake is over 180 m deep and 42 km long. Piva Lake has excellent conditions for
sports on calm waters.
