The day began in the luxury of the Budva Riviera, where Mediterranean beauty was contrasted by blistering 44 °C heat and the haze of wildfires sweeping across the country. Yet, rather than cancel the trip, the organizers embraced the spirit of adaptation, carefully designing a safe and uplifting route for the day.

Hidden near Cetinje, Lipa Cave is one of Montenegro’s largest and most captivating underground wonders. Its 2.5 km of explored passages feature towering stalactites and stalagmites with names like “Spaghetti,” “Curtain,” and “Totem,” while an underground river winds through its depths. The cave’s highest and lowest points are separated by over 300 meters of elevation, creating a subterranean landscape that feels otherworldly.

Temperatures remain a refreshing 8–12 °C all year, offering a perfect escape from the wildfire smoke and heat.

The grand finale of the day was a private boat cruise on Lake Skadar, Montenegro’s crown jewel of natural beauty.

Largest freshwater lake in the Balkans: Spanning 370–530 km² depending on the season, Lake Skadar is a protected National Park and UNESCO-designated Wetland of International Importance.
