אגרת השהייה (אגרת תיירות) נגבית עבור כל שימוש בלינה (מלון, דירה, פנסיון, קמפינג) כאשר האורח אינו תושב קבוע של הנכס
הטווח החוקי: €0.10–€1.00 ללילה (כל רשות מקומית קובעת את הסכום המדויק בהחלטה משלה)
ילדים מתחת לגיל 12: בדרך כלל פטורים מתשלום
ילדים בגילאי 12–18: בדרך כלל משלמים 50% מהאגרה המלאה
נותן השירות (בעל הנכס) חייב לרשום את האורח במסגרת הזמן שנקבעה בחוק (12–24 שעות, בהתאם לרשות המקומית) ולציין את סכום האגרה בנפרד בקבלה

רישום השהייה: בערי החוף לרוב המארחים רושמים את האורחים דרך ארגוני התיירות או מערכות מקוונות. בעיירות קטנות ייתכן שהאורח יצטרך להירשם בעצמו במשרד התיירות המקומי או במשטרה (MUP).
