Prčanj is a town settlement in the municipality of Kotor in Montenegro. According to the 2003 census, there were 1,244 inhabitants (according to the 1991 census, there were 1,213 inhabitants).

Prčanj is located on the coast of the Bay of Kotor, in the municipality of Kotor in Montenegro. In the documents of the Kotor archive, it is mentioned starting from the 13th century and it is the birthplace of the famous Boke warriors, but also of skilled sailors who maintained the first postal traffic between Venice and Constantinople in the 17th century.

Today, Prčanj is a tourist destination and a treasure trove of cultural and historical monuments that amaze visitors. Among them, the parish church, dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin, on the slope of Vrmac, is particularly dominant, and is also the largest in Boka Kotor. It was built in the period from 1789 to 1913 according to the project of the Venetian architect Bernadino Macarucci.

Next to the church are the busts of Njegoš, Andrija Zmajević, Josip Juraj Štrosmajer, Andrija Kačić Miošić, Fran Uchelini, and Jozo Đurović, the captain and platoon of the national revival in Boka, as well as Ivo Vizin, a sailor who sailed around the world.

There are 957 adults living in the village of Prčanj, and the average age of the population is 37.9 years (36.1 for men and 39.6 for women). There are 415 households in the settlement, and the average number of members per household is 3.00.

The population in this settlement is very heterogeneous, and in the last three censuses, an increase in the number of inhabitants was observed.
